On 8 October 2002, a conference was held in Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, on the subject of antisemitism. The event denouncing antisemitism and supporting the State of Israel was impressive. The local branch of the “International Christian Embassies” – a small but dynamic organization, which succeeds in organizing very impressive activities, organized the conference. Hundreds of people from all walks of life in Brno attended the conference: university people, religious leaders and politicians. The atmosphere at the conference was very pro-Jewish and pro-Israel.
