On 24th October 2002, a mass demonstration of solidarity sponsored by a pro-Palestinian organization called “NJ Solidarity” was held on the campus of Rutgers University. As a “warm up” to the event, antisemitic graffiti were smeared around the “Hillel House” and some equipment was destroyed.
