Egypt – UN Commission on Human Rights Denounced Antisemitism in the Egyptian Press

The United Nations Commission on Human Rights has urged the Egyptian authorities to stop the publication of antisemitic articles in the Egyptian press because they are in violation of the peace agreement in which there are clauses forbidding support for incitement and racial or religious discrimination. According to the Commission, the Egyptian press, especially that controlled by the Establishment or closely associated with it, is guilty of crossing the line between criticism of Israel and attacks on Jews and Judaism.
