On the morning of 8th November 2002, a candy box containing a booby-trapped handgrenade was discovered near the Jewish Community Center in La Plata. The grenade was accompanied by a note reading “Jews! Get out of the neighborhood”, and a sketch of a swastika. The grenade was dismantled by the police and no damage was caused.
