A member of the Council for Determining Regime Interests, Nateq Nouri, delivered a speech on 29th November before the Friday sermon in a mosque in Tehran in which he said that Israel had been created not only to stand up to the Arab People, but also to gain control over the Middle East, in order to serve the interests of Britain and the United States bringing energy sources under their control. He went on to relate: at the end of the 19th Century, the Zionists prepared the 24th Protocol of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which sets forth Israel’s medium and long range objectives. However, at the first Jewish Congress, this document found its way to the Russian Intelligence Service and was published several years later. Nouri stressed that “The ultimate goal of the Zionists in this first Protocol was to gain control over the world, a goal which cannot be attained except through coercion and violence”.
