Anis Mansur, one of the most prominent Egyptian journalists, devoted his column in the 28th November 2002 edition of Al-Aharam to the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, writing that for generations the Jews had disassociated themselves from the “Protocols”. He goes on to write that he does not think that the Jews are afraid for their good name in connection with the “Protocols”, since they have succeeded in gaining everything that these “Protocols” demanded. The Jews’ demonstrations against the publication of the “Protocols” are therefore a sham, since what they really want is that no one should touch them and that they should remain a fear-striking
