Egypt –State Department Disappointed with Screening of “The Horseman Without a Horse”

On 27th November 2002, the American State Department Spokesman expressed the United States` deep disappointment with the fact that Egyptian State television had decided to screen the series “The Horseman Without a Horse”, despite the fact that the Americans had expressed their concern over this even before it was first broadcast. The Spokesman said that the series includes scenes which depict the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” as fact, although it is an infamous antisemitic fabrication designed to incite violence against the Jews.
