On 10th October 2002, some hooligans tossed stones at the windows of the offices of the Jewish community in Taganrog, and even smeared graffiti reading “Jews get out of Russia”! on the building. This office had been attacked several times before, and the members of the community even removed the office`s sign CIS in an attempt to reduce the number of antisemitic attacks on the building, but to no avail.
