In the wake of a large number of complaints, the American Target clothing chain removed neo-Nazi symbols (on boys’ hats and men’s shorts) from the shelves of its 1100 shops in the United States. The symbols appearing on the pieces of apparel were the number “88”, which is the symbol of the Nazis for “Heil Hitler”.
