On 8th May 2002, vandals ripped posters off the walls of the Beth Rivkah Synagogue in the Dollard des Ormeaux section of Montreal. The posters advertised the “Jerusalem March” event scheduled for 19th May. The vandals drew swastikas on the posters that had been torn down and burnt them in a bonfire in the street.
