On the 12th-14th October 2002, the University of Michegan in Ann Arbor hosted the second conference of the Palestinian National Solidarity Movement. The contents of the conference were anti-Israel and anti-Zionist, with emphasis on support for divestment from Israel and the end to support for Israel in the United States. When a small group of Jews demonstrated against the conference, about 75 antisemites confronted them shouting antisemitic epithets including “Death to the Jews”.
