During the first half of January 2003, antisemitic graffiti were smeared on a cenotaph commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. After members of the Jewish community had removed them, they were smeared on a second time. This cenotaph had in the past been the target of antisemitic attacks. A complaint was lodged with the police.
