In late January 2003, a number of articles written by a well-know radical right-wing and antisemitic journalist appeared in the press attacking Jose Alperovitz (a Jewish Senator who has announced his candidacy for the Governorship of Tucuman Province) and the Jewish community. He called them “dirty Jews” whose only interests are Zionism and promoting the affairs of the State of Israel and not those of Argentina.
