United States – Verdict Against a Palestinian for Antisemitic Behavior in Ann Arbor

A court in Michigan handed down a guilty verdict against an 18-year-old Palestinian who shouted curses and antisemitic epithets at a Jewish student at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and even tossed a bottle at him, sentencing him to 100 hours service to the Jewish community. In addition, he was also given a two-year suspended sentence and ordered him to participate in a hate-control course and write a paper on antisemitism. The trial followed the law suit filed by the Jewish student.
