In the 23rd March 2003 edition of the newspaper A Folha De Sao Paolo, Dom Dadeus Grings, the Archbishop of Pôrto Alegre, wrote that six million Jews were not murdered in the Holocaust, but were only a part of a total of 22 million war victims. He went on to say that it was the Christians who were the great victims of the Nazis, not the Jews.
