Russia – Antisemitic Demonstration Near Jewish Organization in Moscow

On 26th January 2003, about 70 activists of the Nationalist Party for Russia (NDRP) held a demonstration outside the offices of the “World Congress of Russian-Speaking Jews” in Moscow. The demonstrators carried antisemitic posters, inciting hatred. The NDRP Chairman, Stanislav Terekhov claimed that the demonstration was aimed against the efforts of the Jewish organization to have his Party disbanded because of racist incitement. Terekhov said that his Party “did not like the fact that people who do not hold Russian citizenship, or who hold dual citizenship, preach to the Russians how they should live”.
