On 26th March 2003, there were a number of attacks on Jews in the Jewish neighborhood of Stamford Hill in North London. They were apparently carried out by a pair of men of Arab appearance. The attackers tried to attack an Orthodox man. Later they poured cleaning fluid on the driver of a car, again an Orthodox Jew, after pretending to ask him for directions. Finally, they threw stones at a car smashing its windshield.
