France – Serious Attack on Jewish Women in Paris

On 29th March 2003, two Jewish sisters aged 55 and 61 were walking along Flandres Street in the 19th Arrondissement of Paris, when a can of Cola was thrown at them and one of the women was pushed to the ground, her Star of David was ripped off her neck and a girl began pulling her hair. Other people joined the attackers and beat her until she lost conciousness. Her sister, who wanted to help her, was also thrown to the ground. The police arrived and arrested the attackers.
