On 19th June 2003, an e-mail letter with antisemitic contents was received at the offices of the Jewish Agency in Baku. The letter comprised curses, epithets against the Jews and support and encouragement for the acts of the Nazis in World War II. The letter also said “We will take revenge and will see to it that all the Jewish children are beaten up”. The letter was passed on to the local authorities.
