On 11th July 2003, a wooden Star of David was burned and put beside a statue of Jesus in the Central Church in Bialystock. The police arrived at the site within a few minutes and put out the fire. The arson may have had to do with the 10th July anniversary of the slaughter in nearby Jedwabne
