On 11th April 2003, a Jewish woman in Montpellier was attacked by two women neighbors of North Afican origin. They hit the woman on the head while shouting antisemitic epithets. This incident followed antisemitic curses shouted at the woman the previous week. Ever since a complaint was made about the attack, the woman has been the target of intimidation (motor scooters “scraping past her” as she comes home, curses and the like).
