On 30th July 2003, a Jewish youth, wearing a shirt with Hebrew writing on it, was attacked by skinheads. While he was standing at Victory Square in Kiev, some five or six skinheads wearing motley military garb approached him, asked how he dared to wear a shirt like that and then punched him and kicked him. The youth suffered slight injuries.
