On 26th August 2003, at about 17:00 hours, a vehicle crashed through the gates of the parking lot at the “Hakoah” Jewish Sports Club Building in Sydney. The driver of the vehicle ignored the guard’s shouts for him to stop and barreled straight through. When the guard drew his weapon and threatened him, the driver got out of the vehicle, threw his keys at the guard and fled. He was later apprehended. The “Hakoah”Building was evacuated. The driver’s motivation for the act is not known.
