In late August 2003, a reception clerk at the Axa Hotel in Prague refused to accept the keys for safekeeping over the Sabbath from a group of Jewish youth from Britain. He claimed that he did not care about the traditions of the Jews who behave like it was the Middle Ages. He added that it was because of this that people all over the world hated them, with justification. He also cursed them and refused to explain his behavior to the group’s security person.
