On 7th August 2003, several Jews were attacked as they were walking down the street in the 19th Arrondissement in Paris. At first, a group of 20-year-old youths began shouting epithets and curses at them. The strollers decided not to answer them, but after they had entered one of the courtyards they were injured by glass from a bottle that had shattered opposite the fence. The attackers then tried to follow them into the building. A complaint was made.
