Report determining that most of the antisemitic acts in Europe are carried out by Muslims has been shelved

The European Center for Tracking Racism (EUMC), which belongs to the European Union, has decided to shelve a report on the roots of antisemitism which it had commissioned after the sharp rise in antisemitic acts in the year 2002.

The report had been composed by the Center for Research on Antismitism at the Technical University in Berlin, which has a 20-year reputation as the leading research insitute on antisemitim and enjoys international renown.

According to the report, behind antisemitic attacks on the Jewish communities are radical Islamic organizations originating mainly in Morocco and Algeria, joined by local radical left-wing elements who oppose Israel’s policies in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The official reasons given for shelving the report were that it had an anti-Muslim bias, that the bases for its information were tainted and that its definitions were too complicated and too long.

The authors of the report, two professors, dismiss these claims out of hand, calling them libelous, and fully back up their findings. The researches also said that elements in the European Union repreatedly asked them to rewrite the report and moderate its conclusions.
