On 2nd December 2003, two threatening e-mail letters were received at the offices of the Jewish Agency. One of them included threats to the lives of a local security man and his son, and the second letter contained the threat “We’ll do to you what they did to you in Istanbul. The letters were written in Russian and in Azari.
