Britain – Antisemitic Graffiti and an Attack on a London Apartment House

On 28th January 2004, a Jewish man residing in Belsize Park in London was astounded to discover antisemitic epithets in German and swastikas daubed on the apartment building where he lives. When he tried to open the door to his apartment, the person who had daubed the graffiti physically attacked him while shouting racist epithets at him. He succeeded in overcoming his attacker and was surprised to discover that he was also a resident in that building. The police were summoned to the place and arrested the attacker. A charge sheet was issued against him, but he is apparently not mentally fit to stand trial.
