The Netherlands – Antisemitic Telephone Call

On 17th January 2004, a non-Jewish resident of Amsterdam received a telephone call from a woman who spoke English with a Middle Eastern accent. The woman claimed to be calling from London and that she was conducting a survey of residents of the Benelux countries concerning the Middle East. The first question asked was: “What do you think about the Jews in Amsterdam“? The woman refused to answer the question saying that she was not prepared to participate in a survey of that kind.
