The Netherlands – Antisemitic Remarks on a Radio Program in Amsterdam

 



On the “Radio 747” radio program, a Moroccan rapper was asked in an interview what his father’s profession is. When he answered that his father owned a cleaning materials plant, the interviewer replied, “Your father must be Jewish since they know how to exploit people and get rich that way. If so you’re a Moroccan Jew”. When a complaint was registered about the nature of the remark, the program’s producer said that the interviewer had intended it to be satirical.
