Britain – Antisemitic E-mail Sent to a Jewish Organization in London

On 14 January a Jewish organisation received an antisemitic e-mail in response to the recent event of Prince Harry wearing a Nazi uniform. The author demanded that the British Jewish community apologize for the murder, by hanging at a roadside, of two British Army sergeants in Palestine, circa 1946; and perhaps also for the bombing of the Royal David Hotel in 1946 by Menachim Begin. The letter ended with the sentence “Most Cupboards have skeletons.” An additional letter sent to the community with regard to Prince Harry demanded that the Jewish community vocally criticize Israel’s policies and behaviour.
