Uruguay – Search and Arrest of Skinheads in Montevideo

According to media reports, following incidents between skinheads and a group of punks sometime in February, the police uncovered two groups of skinheads who are apparently connected with neo-Nazi groups in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. According to reports, the members of the groups define themselves as “Racist, antisemitic, antidemocratic, anticommunist and anti-capitalist”. Two suspects have been arrested to date.
