Britain – Anti-Israeli Remark at Muslim Conference in Manchester

 Yvonne Ridley, a former Daily Express reporter, who had been held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan and then converted to Islam, dlivered a speech at a  Muslim conference held by the Ramadhan Fund in Manchester. The conference was attended by 2500 people, among them four Jews representing different organizations. In her speech Ridley, a member of the pro-Palestinian RESPECT organization referred to Israel as a vile state and defined terrorists as the Israeli soldier pointing a gun in the back of the mother of a Palestinian child. She called on the audience not to shop at Zionist stores and told them to log on to the Boycott Israeli Goods website. She continued to applause: Every time you make your purchases you are putting bullets in the backs of Palestinian children.
