Britain – A Parliament Inquiry into Antisemitism is Launched

A British parliamentary enquiry into anti-Semitism was officially launched in the House of |Commons in the wake of the marked increase in anti-Semitism plaguing Britain in the past two years. The enquiry which will be run by a team of 12 politicians from all major parties will be head by British MP John Mann. He said  that the level of antisemitism in Britain has now reached the highest point in over a decade. He added: “Antisemitism is  back in fashion. It was considered solely a problem of the far  right but this is no longer the case. . We have to recognize that anti-Semitism is a virus and it mutates to suit its surroundings. It is not simply a Jewish problem, just like racism is not simply a problem for the black community. This scourge affects the whole of society.” (EJP)
