Britain – The CST Summary of Antisemitic Incidents in Britain for 2005

According to the CST summary antisemitic incidents in 2005, there were a total of 455 such events as compared to 523 in 2004: a decrease of 14%. Two incidents of extremely violent antisemitic incidents occurred in 2005 compared to 4 such incidents in 2004. The most outstanding incidents were 273 harassments in 2005 compared to 272 such incidents in 2004. There were 82 violent incidents in 2005 compared to 83 such incidents in 2004. In 2004, there were 93 incidents of “threats”; in 2005 there were 25 such incidents. There were 53 incidents of desecration in 2004 compared to 48 such incidents in 2005.
