Belgium – An Exhibition in Memory of the Belgian Victims Who Perished in Auschwitz


On 7th May 2006, the Belgian Prime Minister inaugurated an exhibition in memory of the Belgian victims who perished in
Auschwitz. In his address he said: “The entire story of the Holocaust must be passed on, each and every detail must be published”. The exhibition reveals the “regime of hatred, nationalism and racism”. Of the 30 thousand Belgian Jews who perished in the Holocaust, 25 thousand were murdered in
Auschwitz.
