Belgium – Harassment of a Young Woman Because of Her Connection to a Jewish Man


On 21st January 2006, a young woman whose mother’s partner is Jewish arrived at her mother’s home for a visit and subjected to antisemitic catcalls: “Jewish whore, dirty Jew”. When the girl turned around to see where the catcalls were coming from, she saw a man of North African origin who shouted at her: “No, no, stop searching. It’s me you Jewish whore, you dirty Jew”!
