Chile – A Lawsuit against Neo-Nazi Groups


On 20th June 2006, the Speaker of the Chilean Legislature, Antonio Leal, presented a lawsuit to the Chief Prosecution against neo-Nazi groups in Chile. The causes behind the suit are the violation of an arms control law and the threats recently received by a number of Jewish public figures in Chile. Lea, said that the police is doing an efficient job against these radical groups, but it is also very important to fight them in the judicial and legal arenas as well.
