Belarus – Desecration of a Memorial to Holocaust Victims

On 12^th November 2006, the “Yama” memorial to the victims of the Holocaust in

Belarus was desecrated. White paint was poured over one of the compositions (pictured). Along the Avenue of the Righteous, leaflets with nationalistic texts calling for “fighting the enemies of the Homeland” were strewn about.
