Springfield are investigating a possible hate crime after more than two dozen gravestones were toppled at Jewish cemeteries.
Official say the vandalism occurred Monday night at the cemeteries on King’s Highway, which serve four local Jewish congregations. Gravestones at an adjacent Roman Catholic cemetery were left untouched.
