Belgium– A Telephone Threat to a Jewish Community Facility in Brussels

At about 12:50 hours on 6th July 2007, the secretary of a Jewish community installation in Brussels received a telephone call from a person with an Israeli accent and therefore took no precautions. He was asked a lot of questions after which the caller declared that there are only Jew-lovers, that he was a member of Al-Qaeda and that the building was about to blow up and then hung up. Following the phone call, the police were immediately contacted and conducted a search of the place. The investigation is being conducted along several lines.
