The victim, who is visibly Jewish, was walking down his road on Shabbat and allowed a male youth behind him on a bicycle to pass by. The cyclist slowed down a few meters on. He began to verbally harass the Jew and then blocked his path and said things like “I’ll kidnap you”.
The victim loudly told him to go away and leave him alone. Another person was walking nearby and intervened the cyclist away whilst cursing “the ……. Jew”. The other person told him to “allow it – it’s just a religion”.
