The victims were attending a function at a local Synagogue in Borehamwood. They had gone outside for some fresh air but were still within the enclosed grounds of the location. A group of youths threw liquid at the face and legs of the Jews. Shortly after the substance was thrown the victims felt pain and a burning sensation. The victims washed the substance off.
