The victim, who is visibly Jewish, was walking along a road in Salford when he was approached by three white youths aged 15 or 16. The youths began shouting anti-Semitic abuse at him, calling him “you Jewish cunt”. They then threw a glass and a brick at him, one of which hit him on the leg but did not cause any injuries.
