Argentina – 76% of the youth hold racist views

Of the 4,971 public secondary school pupils in 21 provinces in Argentina, more than half reject the gypsies, the Jews and people from the Far East.

The survey was conducted by the Gino Germani Institute of the Buenos Aires University. Argentina is generally regarded as a melting pot, and they recite the preamble to the Constitution which invites all the Peoples to join the Argentine nation, but when 4,971 from public schools all over Argentina were asked about it, they displayed massive rejection of the foreigners. The most reviled are the gypsies and the Jews (67% against the gypsies and 55% against the Jews).
