Great Britain – anti Semite remarks against Grant in Chelsea’s website

The “Mail on Sunday” reveals that following the derby between Fulham and Chelsea, the Chelsea website chat was full of anti Semite and racial remarks aimed at Abram Grant, according to a published report in the computer section of the newspaper, the day before yesterday. According to the report, Chelsea condemned harshly the club fans, the section editor, Daniel King relates; “Following complains of racial remarks against Grant, Chelsea conducted an inspection of the website chat users. This chat is the oldest on the web, the chat, once separated, is now part of the Chelsea new website.

The news item revealed that such remarks appeared following Grunt’s appointment to the post, saying that he got the job only because he and Roman Abramowitz are both Jews. It should be pointed out that only a handful of fans used this type of expressions.
The formal Chelsea communiqué was as follows: “We will not tolerate this type of remarks on our chat. We have scanned thoroughly for similar expressions; any future use of this type of expressions will cause the item to be erased immediately from the website. If collaborating evidence concerning other fans using such language will be found, severe measures will be taken against them”.
