USA – Antisemitic incident at Temple University

Four Philadelphia’s Temple University students allegedly assailed two students from another school who were standing in front of a traditionally Jewish fraternity house.

A witness said the Temple students asked the others if they were members of the fraternity, and when the others said they were not, someone made an anti-Semitic remark and one of the Temple students threw a punch. University officials said the two victims were seriously injured in the ensuing fight.
The Temple students have been suspended and university President Ann Weaver Hart said the school was taking the situation “very seriously and will be developing programs for students and the broader university community to address issues of tolerance and civility on our campuses.”
