A Jewish boy saw a group of youths aged about 16 years old when he was returning from school. They started shouting abuse at him and threatened him not to get on the bus which he was trying to get on. The victim turned to walk away when one of them struck him on the back of the head and knocked him unconscious. At first the victim thought he had been punched but when he attended hospital the doctors said the nature of the wound was as if he had been struck with a weapon such as a stick.
