A report was made to a regional newspaper regarding anti-Semitic chanting made on a train. The victim was on a train when fans from a football match spotted that there was a Jewish person on the train and started chanting the following songs: “Jew boy”. This was followed by chants of “We are the Tottenham haters”, “Get your skull cap on” and “yidder, yidder, yidder”. A female passenger objected to their behaviour and she was immediately subjected to offensive language, jeers and taunting.
