Five teens face misdemeanor charges for allegedly vandalizing three Carmel Valley homes in San Diego.
The acts of malicious mischief – which included spraying a fire extinguisher at a house and a car, taping and tying front doors shut, pulling out electrical wiring and affixing a duct-tape swastika to a window.
The district attorney’s office could decide to enhance the charges as hate crimes, because a duct-tape swastika was stuck on the window of a Jewish family’s home.
